Anglian Building Products (ABP), the large project division of Anglian Windows Ltd, is pleased to have secured first position on the latest Hyde Group framework agreement, to supply and fit replacement windows and doors.

ABP came out top in a competitive tendering process and with that was awarded the position of appointed contractor, ahead of two other companies on the framework; having demonstrated the ability to deliver a service with the highest combination of quality and price.

The work involves the replacement of windows and external doors on flats, maisonettes and houses and associated communal staircases, lobbies and landing areas plus external works to estates. Materials to be used will include PVCu, metal and timber.

Hyde is one of the largest housing associations working in England, owning or managing circa 50,000 homes in London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, the East of England and East Midlands.

The four year framework can potentially be extended by a further four years.

The selection process included an evaluation of Anglian’s approach to resident engagement and the commitment to developing IT interfaces with the client.

‘We are really delighted to secure this framework with The Hyde Group who are one of the most progressive social landlords in the sector. We are particularly impressed with the professionalism of the whole procurement process and the resident involvement throughout.’

Stephen Preece, Sales Director, Anglian
