Anglian Building Products, the large projects division of Anglian Windows Ltd, is engaged in delivering extensive upgrade works to Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) housing on behalf of CarillionAmey.

The contracts at Brize Norton are worth approximately £1.2m and are being delivered in 3 phases.

Phase one of the project has seen the successful early completion of works to 40 service family homes. In addition to the external wall insulation, the works include a wide range of building trades including roofing, canopies, plumbing, electrics, building and PVC-U Anglian windows and doors. As well as improving overall living conditions, the works have revamped the appearance of the homes.

Brian McQuiston, Anglian Project Manager is managing each phase ensuring they stay on track and are completed to a high standard. All 3 projects are currently in progress and due for completion by April 2018.

‘The success of any project of this nature is down to ensuring we have high management objectives, starting with pricing the project, procuring the sub-contractors, all the way through to mobilisation and delivery of the onsite works. The project management team not only focus on meeting the client’s requirements, but also maintaining good client and resident relationships throughout the whole project. It is a testament to the entire Anglian team that we are achieving those goals, with the ultimate acid test being accolades coming from positive client feedback.’
