Anglian Building Products, the large projects division of Anglian Windows Ltd, has been awarded a windows and doors installation contract with Croydon Council. The contract, won through an OJEU compliant best-value procurement process, is worth approximately £8m over 5 years and there are options to extend the contract up to a total of 14 years.

The scope of works is the installation of PVC-U windows, standard and fire-rated composite doors and roofline products.

The contract includes works to a range of building types including housing, educational and social care buildings with over 600 homes being improved in the first year.

Anglian will be opening a new local depot specifically to service the contract and will undertake a number of initiatives to support the local community.

The procurement process and mobilisation of the contract has been led by St Albans-based consultancy Echelon Consultancy Limited.
