Anglian Building Products (ABP) was first established over 30 years ago and are specialists in providing insulation solutions to both the business-to-business and public sector throughout England, Scotland and Wales.

When the Contracts Division was originally formed it focused principally on large noise insulation projects and window replacement projects for MOD housing. The acquisition of New England Windows in 1992 accelerated the Divisions penetration of the Local Authority and Housing Association markets. ABP has throughout this time built excellent working relationships with direct clients, managing contractors and House Builders growing our market share.

Our market leading position allows us to offer a locally based service combined with the huge economies of scale realised from our vertically integrated in-house supply chain - design, project management, resident consultation, survey, supply, installation, recycling and maintenance.

Anglian Building Products is the business to business division of Anglian Windows Limited. The company was established in 1966 and has an annual turnover of approximately £200m. Anglian employs approximately 2500 people throughout the UK. The other divisions of Anglian Windows are:

• Anglian Home Improvements is renowned in the UK as the number one supplier of high quality home improvements to the retail sector.
• Anglian Manufacturing designs, manufactures and distributes windows, doors and associated products throughout the UK to service all contracts. All resources are controlled through our vertically integrated structure.

Key Milestones

1966	Anglian Windows Ltd was established to provide aluminum secondary glazing, windows and doors.
1976	The dedicated Contracts Division was formed.
1978	PVC-u products were added to the product range.
1983	The company opened its own double glazed unit plant.
1984	PVC-u extrusion plant was commissioned completing our vertical integration.
1990	British Standards Institute first accredited our Quality Management System.
1992	Major investment introduced our gas-filled double glazed units offering higher thermal performance.
1994	Major investment was made in the revolutionary 'Fastrack' automated window production at the Norwich site.
1997	Contracts Division was renamed as Anglian Building Products.
2001	Third glass toughening plant was commissioned to provide additional manufacturing capacity.
2005	Anglian Windows signs up to Recovinyl, a European-based recycling initiative backed by the BPF.
2006	Anglian Building Products awarded Investors in People.
2009	Anglian Building Products awarded ISO 14001 Environmental Management System accreditation by BSI.
2009	Anglian Building Products joined the National Insulation Association
2010	Awarded approved external wall insulation installer status by Permarock, Rockwool and Structherm.
2010	Appointed to LHC U8 Framework.
2011	Launched Anglian Warm-Space, joint venture focussing on loft and cavity wall insulation for public sector clients.
2011	Anglian Building Products awarded ISO 18001, Occupational Health and Safety accreditation by BSI.
2011	Anglian Building Products joined Insulated Render and Cladding Association (INCA) as a Contractor Member.
2011	Appointed to South East Consortium.
2012	Anglian Building Products awarded Achilles - UVDB Verify category B Assessment.
2012	Anglian signed up to be a Green Deal Pioneer with DECC (Department of Energy and Climate change).
