The Shared Apprenticeship scheme was launched in 2008 by Construction skills for Wales in collaboration with Carmarthenshire Construction Training Association, Carmarthenshire College, Carmarthenshire County Council and the Welsh Assembly Government.

The purpose was to address the construction industry’s skills shortfall and offer apprentices the opportunity to gain a wider range of experience and skills from a range of different companies. This scheme is in addition to Anglian’s national commitment to employ apprentices on all long-term framework contracts.
