CUMNOCK ACADEMY - MORE COMFORTABLE CLASSROOMS FOR SCOTTISH STUDENTS

Cumnock Academy is a non-denominational secondary school for approximately 1,000 pupils, serving the local towns and surrounding rural area.

The old single-glazed metal windows were replaced by low maintenance energy efficient double-glazed PVC-u outward opening Casements.

The classroom floors were covered with hardboard floor protection throughout.

Anglian have so far completed five phases out of eight phases planned, fitting a total of 900 individual windows over a three-year period, with the value of the works exceeding £450,000.

Anglian’s fenestration surveyors met with the client and other relevant stakeholders on site. From that initial briefing a detailed and fully costed proposal was resented for approval.

Programmes were then agreed to suit budget and cashflow requirements.

East Ayreshire CouncilThis project forms part of a Framework contract which has seen Anglian undertaking work in 13 different establishments throughout East Ayrshire and demonstrates the efficient and collaborative way that the partners have worked together.
