Cavity Wall and Loft Insulation Project

Anglian were appointed to undertake insulation works to over 150 properties in and around Maidenhead. The project included a diverse range of property types including houses, low rise flats, maisonettes and Jakes House, a sheltered scheme. The scope of works included both loft and cavity wall insulation.

Of particular importance to the client was minimal resident disruption and the Jakes House project was undertaken without the need to gain internal access to the residents’ flats, even the lofts were accessed from the corridor areas.
Access to Carbon Emissions Reduction Target (CERT) funding was arranged by Anglian which reduced the cost by approximately 30%.
The insulation will improve comfort levels and reduce heating costs and over 400 tonnes of carbon dioxide will be saved over the whole lifetime of the installation.

‘ We were impressed with the organisation, management, knowledge and accessibility of the Anglian team. They safely delivered a completed programme, on time and to the high standards expected by our organisation. We have received numerous calls from residents, delighted with their better insulated homes.’
