New windows leave residents’ with a clearer view across the London skyline As Anglian Building Products gets set to embark on their final installation phase at Stuart Tower, we review the project undertaken so far to this 16 story tower block.

Built in the 1960’s, Stuart Tower is situated in the desirable area of Maida Vale and is home to many privately owned flats and penthouse apartments.  Following a group consultation by the board, Stuart Tower Residents’ Association appointed managing agent Triton Building Restoration to undertake their internal and external renewals programme.

Having previously provided technical and budgetary advice to the association, Anglian was delighted to be subsequently appointed as their specialist window contractor and works began on this £400k project in early July. Undertaken in three phases, the renewals programme is scheduled to complete in December and Anglian will have replaced over 1,300 steel windows with energy efficient PVC-u tilt and turn windows.

Anglian’s strong customer focus and close collaborative relationship with Triton have ensured that resident disruption has been kept to an absolute minimum.

Contract Manager Barry Westwood commented ‘We were delighted to be appointed by Triton to work on this project for Stuart Tower Residents’ Association. The contract has run to schedule and feedback from residents on the new windows has remained positive throughout.’
