Key Performance Indicators
We are fully committed to continuous improvement through performance monitoring, corrective actions and benchmarking.
Performance management that drives continuous improvement is a key part of our business. We have taken our lead from Constructing Excellence KPI Master Classes to further develop our own performance management systems and to learn about internal and external benchmarking principles. At the start of each contract we work very closely with our client to develop a KPI regime appropriate to the clients, and the project's objectives.

To facilitate continuous improvement we follow Constructing Excellence's 7 basic steps to implementing KPI's. These 7 steps help determine which KPIs to use, how to collect and manage the information and how to report the results. More importantly, the model defines the requirement to take action to continually improve and measure again as "Action not data drives improvement."
We cannot emphasise this point enough, often a great deal of cost can be incurred producing KPI reports. It is the analysis and "take action" elements that enables us to drive improvement.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) exist at each key stage in our in-house manufacturing, distribution and installation processes. Our main focus is on the following areas:
- Quality
- Time Predictability
- Cost Predictability
- Sustainability
- Respect for people
It is important that targets are set for each KPI and that results are benchmarked against both internal and external data.
