Anglian Building Products has just started work on two new contracts to replace windows and doors on properties belonging to the London Borough of Hillingdon. The two contracts valued at £1 million were awarded to Anglian via a mini-competition on the LHC PVC-u window framework.

Work has started on mix of flats, maisonettes, houses and bungalows across the borough and is targeted to be completed by the end of 2014. The products being installed include the Anglian White Knight 70mm PVC-u windows and French doors.

‘Exceptional organisation is the key to working in the London area and on a group of properties of different styles. Our Operations team are skilled and equipped to work efficiently to time scales’

Nigel Wardle, Anglian Operations Director

With the residents, a mix of tenants and leaseholders, in occupation whilst the work is carried out, Anglian will ensure that disruption is minimised. Residents will be provided with an information pack prior to the works and an operations, care and maintenance guide on completion.

‘It is important for LHC to develop positive working relationships with all companies appointed to its frameworks.  We were pleased to take up the offer to visit Anglian’s impressive facilities and meet key staff.  These visits are essential for developing relationships and can only lead to better framework project management throughout the process from opportunity identification to project completion.’
