With this week being National Apprenticeship Week, it’s timely that we introduce our new Apprentice James Lynch who has just joined Anglian Building Products.

James is a Business Administration Apprentice within our Basingstoke based Southern Operations team and working towards a Business Administration NVQ initially to Level 2. His particular focus will be working with the team to ensure that timely management information is provided to our framework contract clients.

‘I wanted experience within the workplace whilst working towards a qualification. For me, there’s no better way of learning how the office works than to be hands on and doing it myself

I wanted to gain experience and a qualification in Business Administration at the same time and that’s exactly what I’m getting.’

James Lynch, Business Administration Apprentice

James was recruited through CoTrain, (part of SECBE) an industry partnership designed to increase the number of young people completing apprenticeships across the South East.

“It is a great way to explore diverse career paths, helping to give people a head start in the working world. Anglian are big supporters and understand how important these opportunities are for developing skills and real life experiences.”
