Our products are CE marked to show that they comply with all relevant EU standards.
CE marking is used to indicate that products bearing its logo conform to EU safety, health and environmental protection requirements. It shows that the manufacturer has checked that its products comply with EU legislation before making them available to buy.
On July 1 2013, the Construction Products Regulations came into force, making CE marking mandatory in the EU, including the UK, for those products covered by a harmonised European standard (hEN) or European Technical Assessment (ETA).
This means that construction products must be CE marked to legally sell them anywhere within the EU, including the UK.
We must make a declaration of performance (DoP) for our products to show they comply with the relevant standards and make declarations available on request. Proof is demonstrated by these declarations of performance, with the supporting test evidence held in our technical files.
The CE mark does not have to physically appear on the products themselves.
