Welcome on board to our new Apprentices

We would like to welcome on board Kain Batts, Warehouse Apprentice and Ben Higgins Installer Apprentice, who are both currently working on the Croydon Contract.

Kain attended Charles Darwin School in Biggin Hill and completed his GCSE’s there. He is interested in working in a warehouse environment so when he saw the Apprentice position advertised he immediately applied. He is now working towards achieving his Level 2 NVQ in Warehouse and Distribution with Anglian.

Kain is getting on well in the warehouse and is working alongside Jack who is the warehouse Manager on the Retail side of the company.
At the weekend Kain enjoys watching Moto GP and Football on the TV but also likes going to Boxing bouts when he gets the chance.

Ben studied at East Surrey College and he was on a construction course for a year there before he applied for this position. He is aiming to achieve an NVQ Level 2 in Fenestration Installation with ABP.

He saw the apprentice position advertised and decided to go for it as he is interested in learning how to become a fenestration installer. He is enjoying being out on site with experienced Installers and is picking up daily aspects of job quite well.

In his spare time and weekends, Ben enjoys going to Car Meets and also socialising with friends.

Working under the supervision of Contracts Manager, Paul Coyne, we can already see that both young men are very hard working and have fitted in well with the team.
