ABP Shortlisted for SNG Social Value Supplier Awards 2026

Shortlisted in the recent SNG (Sovereign Network Group) Social Value Supplier Awards 2026, we continue to support the delivery of Virtual Careers Sessions for residents who need a little bit of help to get back into or into work for the first time.

Covering many topics including the best way to write CVs, how to harness AI in applications, and how to present yourself for the best outcome, these latest sessions, delivered to NEET SNG customers aimed to help boost confidence and explain reasonable adjustments that should be made during the recruitment process.

14 attendees came to this session alone and there was lots of engagement through questions, and quite a few endorsements like these:

“I feel the workshop achieved its goal. It gave me useful advice and helped build my confidence. I learned more about the opportunities available to help me find work, improve my skills, and explore better employment options. The session was informative, welcoming, and encouraging, and I came away feeling more positive and motivated about my future.”

“Thank you for delivering such an informative and supportive workshop. I found the advice practical and encouraging, and I appreciate the time and effort that went into helping participants build their confidence and develop skills for future employment opportunities.”

Our approach is always to deliver sustainable social value that has long-term benefits, beyond the life of a single contract. In supporting this initiative, we’re helping to:

  • Create skills that endure

  • Embed Social Value in procurement structures

  • Build long-term community capacity

Jackie Wilson Training and Commissioning Officer at SNG comments:

“Anglian have been a fantastic partner to work with, delivering three engaging online workshops for our Employment and Skills customers. These focused on AI and recruitment, Career pathways and job roles, and Time management. The sessions were well-structured, accessible, and highly relevant, and Anglian were extremely easy to work with throughout, responsive, flexible, and genuinely committed to supporting our customers.

“5 out of 24 customers (21%) who attended at least one Anglian session in November are now in work. Many factors influence employment outcomes, but participation in training can help build confidence and employability skills that support customers as they move closer to work. Feedback from SNG customers was very positive. The vast majority of customers who provided feedback reported a significant increase in confidence. We look forward to continuing to work with Anglian on future social value opportunities and would happily recommend them as a trusted delivery partner.”
