To be Britain’s most trusted source of home improvements by putting our customers first, acting decisively, delivering outstanding products, customer service and satisfaction.
We’ve been building our reputation for home improvements excellence one customer at a time for almost 60 years. We’ve come a long way since starting out as Anglian Windows almost 60 years ago. From selling our first window in 1966 and opening our Ipswich showroom three years later, we’re now one of the UK’s leading suppliers of high-quality home improvements. We’ve worked hard to build an enviable reputation within the industry and amongst our competitors. But it’s the views of our clients and customers that mean the most to us. The fact that many people recommend and return to us time and time again shows we’re clearly doing something right. From day one we’ve believed in the power of innovation to raise standards and give homeowners and residents everywhere greater choice, quality, and peace of mind. Our renowned uPVC double glazed windows and doors can be found in properties across the country, as can happy customers who know they’ve chosen the best product on the market. Anglian Building Products manufactures a wide range of home improvement products at its factory in Norwich, which covers over 300,000 square feet. With a nationwide network, we pride ourselves on offering a national service with a local presence.
To evidence that our products have been sustainably manufactured and made with constituent materials that have been responsibly sourced, we have achieved BES 6001. This Independent, third party assessment and certification guarantee, demonstrates that we have an effective system for ensuring that we source products responsibly.
With a predominantly in-house supply chain, we can offer you greater environmental control over the project. We extrude our own PVC-U frames and rubber gaskets, cut and toughen glass, assemble double and triple glazed units and fabricate your bespoke PVC-U windows and doors, all on one single site at our extensive manufacturing facility in Norwich – and therefore minimising our carbon footprint.
We operate a closed-loop PVC-U recycling system which is Recovinyl approved. Our in-house recycling capability allows us to extrude recycled materials into non-critical and non-visible areas of our new products. Typically, our products contain approximately 60% recycled PVC-U and will still meet your specification. We send both deconstructed glass from site and factory offcuts to our glass recycling specialist. The recycled content of glass in our new products is typically up to 30%.
Sustainable Suppliers – We ensure that our external supply chain operate to an Environmental Management Strategy and have been vetted to ensure they meet the requirements of our Sustainable Procurement Policy. Our policy aims to engage suppliers who are committed to improving their overall social and environmental performance.
We continue to develop our recycling strategies for each waste stream produced and our recycling target is between 95-98% on a typical project.
