Delivering meaningful social value and improving biodiversity - all in one day!

We recently enjoyed a day planting over 1000 wild flowers at Cranbrook Country Park near Exeter in partnership with LiveWest.

The park is a targeted improvement area for @Cranbrook Town Council with a 35-hectare habitat and public amenity space. Natural green spaces help reduce pollution by filtering dust and pollutants from the air; they draw carbon out of the atmosphere helping in the fight against climate change as well as providing a range of food and habitats for wildlife and trees that help reduce the erosion of soils during flooding. The health and wellbeing benefits of green spaces are immense and being outdoors in nature has been proven to deliver lasting physical and mental health benefits.

Cranbrook Country Park has been awarded the Green Flag Award in both 2024 and 2025, officially recognising it as one of the best-managed green spaces in the UK, so we’re pleased to have been able to do our bit in supporting the local community with their efforts.
