Samantha Alleyne - NHMF Maintenance Conference 2026
We’re delighted to announce our Head of Business Development and Major Bids Samantha Alleyne will be speaking at the NHMF Annual Maintenance Conference on Tuesday 20th January 2026 at 14:45 PM.
Sam will join the Healthy homes roundtable session ‘From Damp & Mould to Healthy Homes: Effective Interventions’ alongside – Tessa Barraclough – Director of Asset Strategy and Delivery (interim), The Riverside Group, Danny Bird – Interim Assistant Director of Regulated Delivery, Aster Group, Chair Tony Clark, NHMF Group Board Treasurer | Regional Director, Seddon Construction.
This discussion will explore how potential procurement reform can underpin the upcoming aligned policies to unlock Healthy Homes, through addressing damp, mould and ventilation strategies as a whole. Debate will also focus on how the social housing supply chain’s agenda goes beyond physical building infrastructure to address the health impacts of poor housing.
The Healthy Homes agenda is positioned as a bridge, a way to harmonise housing quality and energy efficiency under a broader, health-focused umbrella. This means housing providers should be open to batching together a selection of specialist providers in less traditional ways e.g. DMC remediation, windows and doors, ventilation and monitoring, even pulling in solar to power it all within one package.
ABP is excited to contribute to the shared goal of procurement reform to unlock Healthy Homes, particularly through addressing damp, mould and ventilation strategies, through working with specialist supply chain partners, collaborating with housing providers, and innovating with frameworks organisations and sector bodies like the NHMF Healthy Homes Working Group.
But as always, the strength of the UK housing sector lies in collaboration with everyone’s view along the supply chain considered. It’s by doing this that we can create more resilient and fit for purpose solutions. So, if you’re attending the conference, make sure you join the session and be part of this important conversation!
